Got my first wild bird Saturday!!!

I took my older GSP out Saturday with my cousin...in a pretty urban area they have about 60 acres left that is completely surrounded by highway, malls and subidivision now....well we got one woodcock and he locked down one a few more but they were in such thick briar's we couldn't make the others fly out like the fist one that was in the young grow trees.....the problem is land like his grandpas is becoming more and more common here i have only seen a few wild coveys of quail in the past few years and they were further south......and it was while tracking a deer in the thickest clear cut you can imagine that you couldn't hunt. I'll try and post a pic its on his camera
