Browning Gold

Post by Greg Jennings » Tue Aug 26, 2008 9:03 am

I stumbled across a new Browning Gold (which is a upper end model of the Winchester SX2) that was to all appearences NIB on a used clearance rack. I snapped it up. I've shot it a couple of times at sporting clays. So far, I like it quite a bit.

What I'm at a bit of a loss for is extra barrels. I'd like to have a 28" or 30" sporting clays version. Does anyone know of anyone know of a source?

Id try the Manufacturer first, then Gun Broker or Gunsamerica websites.

Good luck

The manufacturer isn't a good option. I checked there first. They wanted more for a barrel than I paid for the entire shotgun :(

I thought it was worth a try.
I just got a Sig Sauer 9mm and sent it back to the them to be refinished, including all new working parts & Springs..they were very helpful.

I sometimes buy wholesale Arms from Centerfire, J & G gun, AIM Surplus & Southern Ohio Gun..
You can email any/all of them & explain your dilemna. They will try to assist you.

Im in West Chester by the way. If you want to hunt or train sometime, let me know..

Best

I have seen this guy recommended on other forums.

Jack Ammon 405-737-0664 M-W 6-8P

He is in Oklahoma, I believe. So that would be 6-8 central time.

Hi Joe,

I didn't know the place existed. I'll give them a call.
