Hi All,
I have a friend who has this gun: http://www.impactguns.com/store/023614234258%20.html
I want to know if you guys think it will be a good gun for upland birds. This guy used to compete in skeet and trap. This was his skeet gun. The price is not an issue because it is a REDICULOUSLY LOW price. I am concerned with whether or not it would be a good field gun.
Thoughts?
Thanks!!

If he will let you go shoot it a few times at some clays, and see how you like it. The way a gun fits you makes a bigger difference than anything else. If the nicest gun in the world doesn't fit you right, you still won't be able to shoot it worth a darn. Then you can decide if you want to carry that much weight, around a field. All depends on what kind of cover you are walking in etc. Any shotgun is a good upland gun if it works for you and you can hit what you are trying to shoot.
Also how much do you plan to use it, if it was used for competition it may have a lot of rounds through it, but if you aren't going to be shooting it much it may not matter, and if the deal is good enough its not a big deal to replace a worn out part if needed down the road.

I think that the weight would be the only drawback for me.
