New gun

got my 1st shotgun for christmas this year lol at 22 years old im just now getting into hunting. Its a remmington 870 super magnum. what are ppl's opinions on this gun? anybody else use it?

Have used one for years, never had any problems. I got mine for 39th birthday, and it was my 1st shotgun, so you beat me by 17 years.

Good dependable gun. Had an 870 as my second gun years ago and their is another one in the cabinet now with the rifled barrell.

You got the right one! I don't think there is a more durable gun out there. I really beleive for the money it the best one on the market.
Do you have a dog yet? As nice as that gun is, it'll pale in comparison to your dog locking up on point for the first time!

Nope, dont have a dog yet. Thats why i joined this forum, im checking out some gsp breeders next weekend so who knows what i'll come home with
