Beretta BL-4

Post by Deuce » Sat Jul 12, 2014 7:04 am

I'm in the hunt for my first o/u. This will be a do it all gun. Mostly training and hunting. A round of sporting clays occasionally (1 or 2 a year). I have an 870 as my primary duck/goose gun (right now it's my everything gun). I stumbled upon one of these in 12ga, 26" with Mod/IC chokes. Input welcome!

It's the plain version of the Beretta Model S57E or S56e... The S57 & S56 has more engraving! Great balance, fast to bring up on the bird! My favorite, My father has an S57E over/under he shipped back from Italy! I want one to go with the pointer pup I just got!

Its not going to be a do all gun if you ever have to shoot steel, unless you want to drop the $ on other non toxics.

I shot a trap model a few years back at a gun club in Alomogordo and ran 100 straight. really liked that shotgun, if I could find a 20 or 28 ga. with 28' barrels I would buy it.
