Finally found the shotgun I've been searching for...
for 20 years. I picked up a like new Beretta Golden Snipe in 12 GA, 26" barrels (IC & M), vent rib, ejectors. Could not pass it up when I ran across it. They only made this gun from the late 50's to early 60's. Almost too nice to shoot, but I'm gonna shoot the thing silly. Should make a great dove and quail gun.

Sounds like you found a real winner, congratulations. Get that locally or had to search around?

Nope, not here in FL. It was in a gun shop in Cambridge MA, found it on Guns America and had it shipped down here. Hate buying sight unseen, $$$ not plentiful, but it worked out and is a nice gun.

Re: Finally found the shotgun I've been searching for...
Thanks! I've owned a Beretta Silver Snipe (28" barrels (M/F), 12GA, no sst, no ejectors) since 1980 and it's my favorite hunter. I started looking for the GS right after I got the SS. I've put thousands of rounds through the SS, had to have new firing pins made for it in 1987, been going strong ever since. My other go to gun is a Winchester Model 1897 in 12GA and 30" full.
