eenie, meanie, miney, moe......

Seriously, either one. The Beretta is probably the most popular and best seller. They have been used extensively on the Sporting Clays tournament circuit for years, so they are built to withstand the abuse. That being said.. the Browning Gold has been around the block as well, although not as popular with the tournament crowd as the Beretta.

I have always had Berettas so I may be somewhat biased :) . I have a A302 (23 years old), I've had a A390 (sold it), Xtrema, and now finally added to the collection a 391 Urika2. All have been excellent guns. I actually prefer the simplicity of the older Beretta autoloaders (302,390) as far as take down and cleaning goes, but the 391 Urika2 is not too bad once you've taken it down a couple times. But then again these guns don't require frequent cleaning unless you've been in the rain.

Here's another option if your leaning toward Beretta:
You can currently get a Beretta 3901, which has the older guns more simplistic gas system for a bit less money then the newer design Urika's.

Sorry probably more than you wanted to know.

the 3901 is sweet too and a bit less money..i have to stop looking thats for sure or else i will spend more money..i held a Guerini Tiempo yesterday and almost wrote a check, but it was an emotional response..i am in a buy american mode right now so the browning has a slight edge, although the Berreta 391 in a synthetic stock is nicer.

I'd be afraid to take that hunting, too pretty !!

P.S. the 3901 comes in a synthetic, I believe it's called the "Citizen". I want to say they sell for $700 or somewhere in that neighborhood.
