Any one shoot a CZ mallard?

Post by jimbo&rooster » Tue Dec 07, 2010 4:16 pm

i Found one new at a gunshop for under $400, wondered if it was agood buy... It looks like a decent gun. Double triggers, 28" 12ga.... not really in the market for a 12ga, but if its ther tomarrow i think i might pick it up.

A limit on the strap is nice, but the kill has nothing to do with tradition.

I have a CZ Redhead in a 20 gauge and I can't complain. I put a lot of rounds through it at the skeet club and I have never had a problem. The price seems ok as well.

You might find that the finish chips but thats about it.

I have a 12 and 20 guage CZ and love them both. Both forearms have cracked. Tried to get new ones ordered from CZ, but had no resolution so far. My 12 gets a LOT of use and abuse from training, the sporting clays, to deer hunting to grouse hunting to quail and pheasant and hunting. I love it. 8) The 20 is my wife's gun and she likes it. We had it trimmed and softened (recoil pad). I love using it for late season grouse. Lighter, shorter and less rcoil.

Try TR Imports in Texas. He is a Huglu importer, perhaps he can get the part.

I have that gun in a 20 ga. with the double triggers. I think it's an awesome gun.

They are good guns and that is a real bargain for a new one.
