Does anybody have any experience with this shotgun? What they weigh and there reliability, would help.

I am a big fan of the older SKB double guns. I have two model 200's which are basically the model 100 with ejectors and a beavertail forearm. I also have a 700 o/u in 20 gauge and a 600 o/u in 410 bore. In several years of heavy use the only repair I have had on any of my SKB's is a broken firing pin on the 410 bore. And, that was my fault for dry firing the gun without snap caps.

All of the older SKB's (100, 200, 600 and 700) have steadily increased in value for the past several years. You can't go wrong. If you like the gun buy it.

I bought one with 25" barrels with IC and Mod chokes. I love the little gun. It does shoot a little tight for grouse but some RST spreaders should do the trick. They should be here in a couple of weeks. I almost bought one a couple days ago with 28" barrels. I thought about cutting the barrels to make them Cyl and Cyl but just couldn't bring myself to hacking the gun.

You can have the ends of your barrels honed to any choke you want,"more open of course',and shouldn't cost much to have it done either.I had a Ithaca SKB o/u 20 ga.,best dang gun I have ever had, still sorry I let that one get away from me.

Most guns are easy but this one has chrome lined barrels. There is more to it than guns without chrome lined.

I have a 200E SXS, a 500 O/U, and a 685 O/U and they are outstanding...good luck on your purchase.
