Side by Side shotgun
I bought a used side by side from a gun shop...the mfg name is worn off and I have looked all over the gun for some kind of ID...all i can find is what looks to be a serial #...L22634...any idea how to identify this thing? 12 ga. with 2 triggers...shoots well...a tad on the heavy side. Gun shop can't help with any info.

Not very savvy when it comes to technology...no idea how to post a picture on here...probably get my grandson to do it.
Re: Side by Side shotgun
How much did you pay for it?
My guess is that it is an Ugartechea.

Re: Side by Side shotgun
Only paid $200 for it. I've owned several older side by side guns and my guess would be that it was made somewhere between 1950-1970. I don't think it is a high end shotgun...could be wrong. Just would like to know for curiosity sake who made it. I tried searching by the serial number on the internet but had no luck.

There is a, "p t", that could be a proof mark under the fore end on the bottom of the barrel ...not sure what it indicates.

If you want to email me a picture I will upload it. I am still going with my guess of brand mentioned above.

My guess is going to be crescent mfg. Cheap and plentiful back in the day. Anyone could have their store name stamped in if they ordered enough of them.
