Recently came across what appears to be an old Boyt leather shotgun case. It is leather and completely tooled in somewhat of a basketweave design. At the mouth of the case there is engraved a quail in flight about 6inches high on one side and a pointer on the other. Inside of case was a small label with Boyt Desmoines Iowa on it. Boyt told me all of their records were destroyed in a fire 10 years ago. Curious if anyone has a similar case or knows of one. I am interested in the history of it as it appears to have some age.

I know Boyt is now located in Osceola, Iowa. I have a plain, leather pistol case that I received with my grandfather's pistol when he passed away. It is high quality and says Boyt Harness Des Moines, Iowa on it. We have a written recored where he bought the pistol in 1968, I can only assume he bought the case at the same time.
