ive found a cz redhead 12 ga on gun broker for 800 seems like a good price I see in the specs that it weighs 7.89 lbs this seems heavy for an upland gun ive been reading good reviews on this gun the reason im thinking about it is I can get it on layaway with 10% down and 10% per month im really strapped so this would be a good deal for me only thing concerns me is the weight anybody have this gun and how do you like it I really want to switch from a pump to an o/u

I've got the CZ Upland Sterling and have had it in the field and used it during a Hunt Test. I really like the gun and have no complaints - shoots well and is comfortable.

I prefer a 12 gauge in the 7 1/2 to 7 3/4 pound range, swing smoother and less felt recoil. Sub 7 pound is 20 gauge territory. I think you will be fine.

Happy with CZ woodcock and bobwhite. Only issue is that I found all the triggers on CZ shotguns to be very stiff. My two stage American .223, not so much.
