Wife's O/U

Post by Buckeye_V » Mon Apr 02, 2007 7:14 am

Just picked up the wife's new O/U this past weekend. She got a CZ Canvasback in 20 guage. We have to make an appointment with the gunsmith to get the stock fitted, but she now knows how to dismantle the gun, clean it, put it back together, what the choke tubes are for and how they are labeled, etc. Oh yeah, she can shoot too! I am glad I kept my papers for patterning my shotgun because she can visualize the shot patterns from different shells and choke tubes. You could see the light bulb go off!

Anyhow, it's a really nice gun and she likes it. Now we have to get her fitted and out to the range for some clay bird busting fun! :D
We have done something with nothing for so long we are now qualified to do everything with anything....

Good move, Buck. I picked up a Citori 20ga for my wife last fall and she had so much fun hunting she wants to join a trap league this summer!

Enjoy.
