Best Bird Hunting East of Mississippi?

If you live in the area of your choice, feel free to add what type of upland bird you hunt and how good the hunting is.
North: PA, NY, VT, NH, ME, MA, RI, NJ, VA, OH, IL, IN, OH, MD, WV, TN, KY,
South: NC, SC, FL, GA, AL, LA, MS

How in the world did you figure 17 states in the hortern part of the country and only seven in the southern half and you didn't even include pobably the best area, WI % MI?

pretty sure that VA, TN and KY are part of the south. Also, pretty sure that MD is below the Mason Dixon Line.
To answer your question VT/NH, along the border in the Northern half of those states.

Because I like very challenging Grouse hunting to me the best Grouse hunting is right here in the Pa & WVa mountains,
spooky birds make great hunting and even better Grouse Dogs. I do like NH & VT very much also.

Louisiana Great Woodcock and snipe hunting and a few pockets of good quail left not many.

Only part of Louisiana is east of Mississippi not the side I hunt so don't count mine.
