Not from a food, any food. UTI is an infection and they don't sell those withdog food.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

The higher ash content can contribute to UTIs.
Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.

So can high temperature, low temperature, wet conditions, high humdity, and a host of other things but not a one of them cause it. You have to get it first.

Can making them hold it cause a UTI? How about going Into heat? How about being pregnant? What about just having a female? Too many things. Just buy antibiotics at the fish store.

The Ash content in Iams Sporting should be around the same level as Euk 30/20 @ 7.1%.

That level would not be considered high, not these days anyway. Hard to see how a conventional food could cause a UTI.

I have heard of Iams giving dogs UTIs before due to the ingredients in the food. Cranberry capsules will clear up a UTI in a couple of days if given enough.

Just a note: bashing a dog food without any evidence at all is going to make you a lightening rod here. Just don't complain if you get struck.

I used to feed my dogs Iams for years. Never had a bit of problem. They ate less, had firm stools, and ran all day. I worked in their plant near Xenia, Ohio on their telecom systems and you had to be impressed with the cleanliness of the plant. Wish I could have been paid in dog food.
