Seizures, effect on scenting?
My Vizsla has had 2 seizures, one month apart, the second one just 3 days ago. His scenting ability appears to be is far less than it was last year. I am attributing this to his lack of training during the summer but am concerned about the effect the seizures might have had. He is now on medication for the seizures, the vet had no cause for them. Does anyone have any information or experiences?

I don't believe the seizures would have any effect but the medication could. However, I doubt if you could tell the difference in one year to the next. It is much more likely he is reacting differently and that could be from many different causes including the medications.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!
Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Thanks, I took him out this morning with quail wings hidden in brush and he found all four. He does not lack scent ability. I think the strong winds where more of a factor than I thought they where. It has been in the 20s or very windy every day we went hunting.
