I have a young GSP with an skin infection on a back leg- treating with antibiotics...but it opens up or gets irritated when in the field. Any tips on wrapping/bandaging? I'll try vet wrap, various DIY coverings....just thought someone might have had a similar problem, and came up with a great fix!! Sores from top of his paw, all the way to the hock, all on the front of the leg.
Thanks!

Re: Leg wrapping tips?
If it starts on the top of the paw, try at least 10 days with no field work. I know it's tuff, but this does happen. Time to get another dog.
A boot on the paw with vet wrap up the leg. Don't get it too tight. The boot may cause more problems.
