It's a dewormer. maybe birddogdoc can chime in on the dosage.

Panacur is an excellent dewormer for nematods (i.e. roundworms, hookworms, etc). I think the dosage is 1 gram per 10 lbs of body weight. It is very safe! I used it to treat giardia as well.

KY,

If you're talking about puppies and Panacur...yes, I typically retreat them with Panacur at the 30 day mark. Adults you can do as well...it's extremely safe! I had a professor in Vet school take a handful and swollow it to make a point! Or, maybe he had round worms!

What would be the best worming and heart worm preventative for use with multiple dogs to cut down on cost? I have used safeguard and ivermec in the past.

I think Iverhart Max is your biggest bang for your buck...it does Heartworm, tapeworms, and the nematodes (roundworms and hookworms, etc)
