Does anyone have any thoughts on cut heal ointment? Went to buy another tube of EMT and they have gone up in price by $8 here in town. Believe its about the same stuff, comes in a larger quantity and way cheaper. Thanks

How about keeping a small can of "bag balm?" It works well on cows and humans, but I don't know about using it on dogs. I guess it would depend on how fast the dog licks it off.

Thanks for the replies, I'm just keeping the remainder of my emt spray in my hunting bag and also have a tub of the bag balm in my camper, the balm works good but somewhat a little messy. Thanks again.

I have used "bag balm" on my dogs for years.

Another option that I use is Neosporin Triple Antibiotic Salve.
