avacado???

Post by ultracarry » Sat Dec 25, 2010 10:54 am

For any of you who know about dogs eating them OS there any problems? I have a few trees in my back yard and my dog has been known to bring them to me. I have seen her eat a few and she leaves the seed and hard outer shell. Should I make her stop eating these for health or just let her chomp away.
Thanks,
Tyler

My dog loves them. I know I have seen it as an ingredient in dog foods, so it is safe for them to eat. I imagine this would even be great for the skin and coat since it has so many good oils/vitamins in it. Also a great source of protein (for a veggie). Bon apetit!

Just be careful with whole avacados as my lab got a pit stuck in her intestines. $1000 later she was fine. Sure had a nice coat though.

:D That's alright, if you are going to give out doggin' you have to take it too  I had enough whining by spoiled Husker fans and don't even want to be associated with 'em anymore. The team, yes, fans, bleh.

The good lord made a mistake in the design of the dog. They shouldn't be able to take in anything bigger than they can push out :o

It isn't just Husker fans. Buckeye fans are even worse. Tressel is 9-1 against Michigan, most BCS bowl wins, most BCS championship appearances, 6 straight Big 10 championships, top 5 recruiting classes every year, and many fans think Tressel should be fired. People are just not realistic. :x

When he learns how to chop the onions, add chili powder and some fresh tomatoes, you're on to something!
