I will be putting better pictures up.
I had some technical problems with my computer. It deleted my original psot. I will be re-posting it later. I tried to delete this but it would not let me. I apologize for the wasted space.

It is hard to see from the pictures, but that dog's nails are really long!!!

I didn't get a chance to see a photo, nor do I see a description. Make sure you rule out a broken toe, as I understand it, that can have future complications--with movement, arthritis, etc. My 3 year old started our hunting season with a swollen top of the paw, which seemed to be over the middle 2 toes. Because I was concerned about a broken toe, and it was swollen for a week, we took her to the vet. He could find nothing wrong on the 2 xrays he took, nor palpation, and felt she had hyperextended a toe. Kept her out of the field from any hard running for 2 weeks, and she hasn't had a problem since.

Check very carefully for a thorn etc. first. Most common cause.

This.
Speak kindly to me, beloved master. Revel in my unconditional love, and give me every minute that you can spare, for my time with you is short.
