Safeguard For Goats

Can the Safeguard Dewormer for goats suspension liquid be applied over food or should it be given directly?

Put it right on top of their food...after a short pause they inhaled as usual.

They make a safeguard for dogs, is a powder you put on the food, the liquid I use with a syringe, fill it pop it in their mouth hold the head up and its down the pipe.
