Re: pro plan vs enhance
I used to like Enhance a lot till they changed their formula..and then they changed ownership
PPP is decent Might try looking into Loyall also
See which one your dog does the best one and go from there

For the price, I am with Arlette. I really like Loyall Puppy.
Re: pro plan vs enhance
Labs are aggressive and fast eaters and it is not good for them, they also have a tendency to pork up. I would look for a larger kibble size than the ones you mentioned. You might want to look for a good large breed food.

I really like Loyall. I have a couple dogs that inhale their feed. I started with good size rocks in their pans to slow them down. Then went to water, started the water when trialing in the spring and summer last year. Mainly to increase the water intake for the heat. It works pretty good and I don't think it hurts a darn thing to get a little more water in them all the time.

ProPlan Large Breed Puppy.
Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.
Re: pro plan vs enhance
Regardless of formula change I can find a better food for $.54lb. I will feed enhance until something is better for the same price
Re: pro plan vs enhance
i think im gonna try them both out and see which is liked better and if i can tell a difference..as neither are sold in my home town but both are within 25 miles different directions..

I feed the enhance hunter's edge premium blend and could not be happier. Price is better than proplan and the dogs do incredibly well on it. Tip here though is don't feed the basic forumla. Get the premium blend. There is no way I would switch to PP over this.

Your lucky to buy any feed at that price. Enhance ain't even close to that cheap here. Loyall is as cheap or cheaper than the Premium Enhance dog foods.
