Just never heard of it but the local feed shop swears by it.

My feed store has it too but I prefer the PMI stuff.

Red flannel is PMI.....I personally won't feed it, I believe much better can be had and for similar price.

27/12 isn't what I consider a high performance dog food. 3 outta the first 4 are corn or wheat products.
The second kick from a mule is of very little educational value - from Wing and Shot.

I have had pretty good luck with the PMI Prime formula, 26-18.

I would stay away from Red Flannel Dog Food, it's filled with corn, by-products, wheat, brewers rice, menadione sodium bisulfite complex, sodium selenite, meat and bone meal, soy, salt, dried egg product, etc. It's definitely not a good dog food to feed. I would feed The Honest Kitchen. The Honest Kitchen has great dog foods, most of their formulas are grain free/gluten free. They are expensive but their food is great. Timberwolf Organics Ocean Blue is another dog food that I recommend feeding.

Little update on Red Flannel & Exclusive. Land O Lakes moved production from Diamond to Texas Farm Products in the summer.

Texas Farm Products has a few brands but Precise is the best known. I don't believe this company has ever had quality problems or a recall.

Me too, just bought some today, 4 50lb bags for $117. Been feeding it for 3 years. My dogs do Great on it. I tried Diamond Extreme Athlete for about 3 months 2 years ago. I couldnt tell a difference and it was $38 for a 37.5lb bag.
