I just brought home a dog I got for free and she has a discharge from only one eye. I put some saliene(sp?) in her eye but that didnt seem to clear it up. I have ruled out any sort of allergy as it is in only one eye.
Anyone have any ideas?
I will be calling the vet Monday or as soon as I get contact info for her previos vet. That and I want a stool samle checked for any worms and such.
Eye Problem
Lots of stuff in the air here in Sacramento this year with all the rain we've had and both Buddy and Jackie are having a lot of discharge. Buddy's does the one eye thing and Jackie has both. With both dogs it's drains overnight when they're asleep and they stay dry during the day. After I've clean them up.
If the dogs eyes aren't watering up and the dog's not blinking it's eye alot I say it's just draining from allergies.
What kind of dog did you get Casper?
