Puppy feeding question

What's everyone's philosophy about how often to feed a 8 week old puppy? He will be alone for 6 hours during the day while at work. Getting a new addition soon and have been away from the puppy thing for 9 years.

At 8 wks I would leave him plenty for the day. I would rather have a pup a little chunky than thin.

dry food free choice. Make sure he has plenty of water available. This is a period in his development that he needs lots of attention when you get home.
