Puppy food

Post by Dieseldog8 » Wed Feb 29, 2012 11:32 am

Hey guys I'm getting a 10 week old gsp I already have a 2 yr old lab now I have been feeding my lab purina pro plan performance it has a 30/20 ratio and was wondering if I should stick with it for both dogs because it is for all life stages so I can keep the same food and keep them from wanting different food or do I need to give the pup pro plan large breed formula it is a 28/13 ratio? Is the performance food too much for a pup I just don't want him to grow too fast and have problems?

Yes . Use PPP for all. Many have been using PPP for their pups for a l o n g time, well before the advertising gimmick " all life stages" became popular.

I've used the ProPlan Performance from three weeks on with good results. It is labled for all life stages.
Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.
