Black gold ?

Just wondering what you guys were paying for 50lb. Have not used it for a couple yrs. The closest place to me wants $40 for the black.

I used to feed the red bag but the feed mill down the road stopped carrying it. I got their last bag a month ago and it $31.

It seems where I live a few of the remaining feed stores have replaced Nutrena with Purina Mills, so Exclusive, Red Flannel & Infinia are at the stores. Red Flannel is very well priced as is Exclusive. Both have a buy 6 get one 1 free program.

There is a feed store near me who says the Black Gold black bag is his #1 seller of all products. He sells it for about $25 a bag. There are way better choices out there though for the money.

I used to feed black gold all the time and used the blue bag for my trial dogs, paid about $25 a bag but as time went on the price went up and it was tougher to get. I have since fed Pazazz dog food for over a year now and love it and get it for about $ 22 a bag, but I also by a ton at a time.

Thanks for all the replies. Had good luck with it before. It is a 45min drive one way. Wife just happened to be close to dealer.

I fed Black Gold for several years, mostly the 26-18 black bag and sometimes the 24-20. I thought it was a good feed for the price but it became harder and harder to find. My feed dealer carries PMI now and I feed mostly the Red Flannel Prime 26-18. Which Pzazz formula are you feeding?
