Doesn't matter the brand or formula. The price of grain going up effects the whole feed world. Grain prices directly effect the meat farmers who need to buy grain to feed their poultry or livestock, so meat based feeds raise in conjunction. And so goes the cycle. Here's an interesting read. http://www.ajc.com/news/business/higher ... res/nTkKW/ Sorry, I just had to put my 2cents in.
There is also a point where farmers can't afford to feed anymore so they slaughter and then meat prices drop, so feed raw if that happens.
That is only very temporary and leads to even hogher prices in a very short time. The thing that may help our prices if fuel stays fairly cheap and that depends a great deal on Obama approving the construction of the pipeline.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Ezzy, I hope you're right. But to hedge on the proposed pipeline as a fuel price savor and decrease grain prices is a massive stretch. Grain(primarilly Corn US 2 yellow)commodities market is not showing your wishful trend the past two quarters(or even the past 20 years!). Once it spikes so sharply it usually takes a VERY LONG TIME to recline and I think it's a safe bet it will never recline back to equal prespike prices. Once commodities jump that high and set such high precendent...it's a miracle to get back to the launch point price. I really hope I am wrong. If anybody has more insight please chime in. I am open minded to hear any prognastications! http://www.indexmundi.com/commodities/?commodity=corn

I was paying $40 for a 50lb bag. Now I hear that they will no longer be making the 50lb bags of Professional :(

Prism (by Eagle) is much cheaper and easier to get than Loyall.

The trainer i use feeds Prism in his kennel. Seems to work great and has a good kennel price. It appears to be very close to ProPac.
