We went for a little hunt this morning and my girl ripped her ear. 1 to 1 1/2 inch tear on the end. We put sugar on it to stop the bleeding, then tried super glue. Looked ok but she started shaking her head and ripped it back open. I guess my question is would a vet do anything different? I really didnt think ear cartlidge would heal back together. Any advice?

Tape it up over her head.

.I can tell you don't wear earrings. Cartilage starts to heal up /scar over immediately.( ( I'd be putting polysporin or ............on that ear.)

Panty hose pulled over the head will stabilize the ear. Cut holes for the face and good ear.
