Kent and Canadaie food.

Are Kent and Canadaie made by the same company? They look and smell the same.

No they aren't. Canidae is an independently owned company and has its foods made in several locations. American Nutrition makes most and Diamond makes the grain free formulas.

Sounds like just a coincidence.

They probably use the same extruder, I feed one of my house dogs Canidae and the Bird Dogs Loyall and the food looks almost exactly the same, little different in color.

Just pointing out that the similarities are not exclusive to the two brands you mentioned.

Most foods are formulated pretty much alike and would look alike unless they are made in different shapes or a coloring agent is used. There are difference dies that produce different shapes that can be purchased. Most companies have a set of several I am sure for their different products.
