Hi guys;
I get asked a lot about lamenesses and I believe this video may help some of you when you are trying to figure out where the lameness arises from. Hunting dogs can have similar injuries to a sled dog. I hope this helps a bit.

Good video that should help people in checking their dogs to locate where the problem may be located when the dog is sore or limping.

Good information.
Just had pup looked at by vet and did not agree with what was said. I will check out her elbow this way.
Just how well can a dog "Hide" an injury long enough to have atrophy in the muscle? This pup lives in the house with us, but we were told that this ligament injury had to have happened quit awhile ago. I am doubting because we would have seen a change in behavior..................wouldnt we have?

just like humans dog's can have varying degrees of stoicism.
I am dealing with some forelimb lameness in my dog for 7 months! It has been near impossible to diagnose because he shows no pain with the vet's go over him. He has atrophy in a particular muscle that has helped with diagnosis
Turns out it is the biceps tendon and we'll be having the shoulder scoped next week
