First of all, new to the forum! I pick up my new pup (Yellow Lab) in about a week and a half so will be asking a TON of questions on here to get some ideas.
Any of you guys feed your dogs Purina Exclusive? The breeder that I am getting my dog from feeds all of his dogs this brand. After some phone calls around the area, I was able to find an average price of about $1/lb for the 35lb bag. They don't sell the food at Petco or PetSmart, so ill end up having to go out of town a little ways to pick it up. Just wanted to hear some overall opinions on it. I provided the link to the large breed puppy information below.

Re: Purina Exclusive - Opinions?
I am very familiar with the red and purple bag. They are excellent foods.
They are not made by Diamond anymore, rather the company that makes Precise. PMI doesn't make the food itself.
PMI is not part of Purina anymore. While they still use the red checker board, the company is part of Land O Lakes.
I think you will find people are extremely please with the food and the value. People with horses tend to use it if they feed the PMI horse products because it gets delivered.

My nephew feeds Exclusive to his GSP's and is very happy with it. He does complain about recent price increases....but all food has gone up in price. Good luck with your new pup !

I have been feeding PMI Exclusive for abour 8 years now. I use the Performance formula year round and adjust the quantity based on activity levels.
