Dog mosquito spray

Any one know of a good one? The skeeters are just awful this year in my neck of the woods.

They are something fierce on this side of Iowa too. Too much rain!

I live in timber and we always have a lot of deer flies. I also use to have horses, and had some Absorbine Ultrashield Wipes, for the horses faces...that are labeled for and worked great on the dogs for different insects. I don't like using chemicals on my pets, but it was a necessary evil to get anything done.

The topical flea preventatives with permathrin or pyrethrins will repel mosquitoes pretty well.

A friend of mine runs a dairy and has these timer activated, battery powered, individual units that have spray cans that about the size of a little 12 oz freon can. He has them mounted all over in his milking barn. Every few minutes or so, they spray a few seconds. The flys and other bugs either drop or buzz out. It really works well. I can't recall the name of them, but they are similarto the link I posted above.

Neem oil and citronella oil spray work well too.
