Hind leg weakness after giving birth

I'll be putting a call into the vet ASAP tomorrow, but thought I'd see if you guys had any thoughts about this as well.
My 4 year old female just had her first litter yesterday the 23rd. She did great and had six healthy puppies and has done well nursing them. However, my wife noticed today that she was favoring her right hind leg. Later this evening I went out to check on her and she acted like she couldn't even get her hind legs underneath her. After a minute of trying she got them underneath her and she was a bit wobbly but started walking around better. She still seemed to favor the right more than the left and she wasn't laying on her right side so I don't think it just fell asleep or anything. Has anybody seen anything like this?
