Getting mom back in shape

Post by DSemple » Wed Oct 23, 2013 1:57 pm

Our best dog has a litter of 2 week old pups, anxious to get her back in the field after the pups are weaned for some late season action.

What is the best way to get her dried out and back in shape? How soon after weaning can I expect her to be ready to go?

It's been 20 years since I had a litter so I'm rusty.

Thanks. ....Don
I'm always happy when I make it thru another bird season with my dogs, my gun and my truck.

It's an added plus if I manage to keep my wife, my house or my job.

Run her plain and simple......

Get her a skidplate and let her roll.
Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.
