Neutering question

Post by PistolEd » Sun Oct 27, 2013 6:33 am

Since we adopted a dog from the shelter, state law requires neutering. He looks neutered to me. The vet said his testicles haven't descended. What age does that happen? I'd hate to neuter him twice...

I think he's intact. How old?
Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig.

Vet's best guess was "about a year". I appreciate the second opinion, that helps me feel a little better about taking him in.

The cancer is normally down the road a ways. I have never found a need to rush it but just do it within the first few years.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.
