Question for new pup

What's the difference in puppy food vs. Adult? I just picked a 8 week old dog and the breeder doesn't feed him puppy food but instead it diamond extreme athlete adult food. Is this a problem or is it ok?

A lot of folk do it that way. I believe the bags of food say All Life Stage on them.

If that's what the breeder weaned the pups onto I would stick with it as long as you don't over feed and cause the pup to get diarrhea. That is pretty rich food for some dogs. Very high fat.
