body shaking

Post by Big bloc » Sat Feb 01, 2014 6:53 am

I get up this morning and feed the dog a normal 1 cup. Took her out side to do her so she could potty . After 1 hour she throw up. Took her out side again she would not leave my side. She is a house dog. It was funny because wanted to lay in the snow its 20 degrees out side. Went back in the inside and the back part of her body was shaking. She will not leave my side. She is drinking water ok. Any thoughts? 2 year old EP female fixed

I don't really know what this is, but a call to your vet might be a good start.

The dog hasn't chewed anything up? Anything in the vomit?

Its Saturday... dont jackleg around and wait to call your vet tomorrow when he wants to go to church, hang out with his kids, watch the big game, or all 3. Call him (or her) this morning. Please.

As Setter Nut asked I would wonder if she just ate something she shouldn't have but as long as she is drinking and going both 1 and 2 ok with her business all you can really do is keep an eye on her and don't worry if she doesn't eat today she will eat when she is hungry. If the shaking doesn't stop I would call the vet and at least run it by him.

Yep. I'd go to the vet on that one. ,,, not the throwing up , but the" staying by my side " would concern me.

I agree. It's not always one thing that causes concern. Often it's a few in combination.
