Your vet can order single doses from the manufacturer. Mine did.

You may be getting late, it is a two shot process, first one, then the second a month later. It is most effective 6 weeks after the second shot.

At least that is the way I remember it.

There's more around than you'd like to know in the "Golden Triangle." Go 10 miles east of the Missouri River and you won't find one though. Go 0-5 miles east of the Missouri River (chamberlain, Pierre area) and you may find one in the river valley, rare though. West banks of the Missouri river on to the hills and it's open game though. There's a good amount of them in spots around Winner but just be smart and you should never come across one.

My trainer saw 6 while at Summer Camp this year in ND. One right under the horses that I got to witness firsthand. About a 4 footer. So glad I got my series of snakebite vaccines prior to sending my dog!

Only one in ON - massasauga rattler. Not to worry if you are coming here for an AF Championship . Snake is only found in the northern Bruce Peninsula - no trials there.

By the time pheasant season opens I would think they would be denned up. They are in Central and North Montana by the end of September..........................Cj

My vet ordered 3 doses (6 shots) for my dogs, If I remember correctly it was about 50 bucks per dog my cost. I don't know what the vet paid.

They are in the $255 per box of 25 range. If you can use all 25 that brings it to $10+ per dose.

Cost more individually from vet because the vet is responsible for any adverse reaction to the shot.
