Vomiting

Post by cheetome » Wed Jan 14, 2015 9:36 pm

Dog vomited about a week and a half ago and then was fine for several days then she threw up again Sunday night. Only one time then she was good by Monday afternoon. She eats drinks and poops. Stools are not firm but not overly loose either. Then tonight she ate and threw up an hour and a half later. I will put a call into the vet in the morning just curious on anyone's thoughts. Flu bug? I don't think she has a blockage as she eats and drinks and goes to the bathroom several days in a row then when she throws up it is only one time not multiple times or days in a row.

Is she throwing up after she eats? I had to elevate my dogs food bowl because they were eating so fast they would throw it sometimes after I elevated there bowls it hasn't happened since.

She throws up like an hour or more after eating. Not a fast eater either and the bowl is elevated.

Vet can only get her in on Saturday. So I guess wait and see.

Might, and I emphasize might, be a worm problem but most likely not a problem at all. But you are doing the right thing by going to the vet if you are concerned.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

is it undigested food, or is it more yellow/mucous/bile-like? otherwise acting fine it sounds like, right?
