Swollen lips with white tint and hair loss
Does anyone know what this could be? It is on both sides of lips.
Thanks

Looks like maybe hitting the canine teeth. Does he bark a lot, or go around with his lips folded under his teeth? Watch how he eats and drinks water, too.

Yes this is the dog with the swollen testicles. Went to a new vet and he said seems normal and that he just has a lot of testosterone.
What do you mean by hitting his canine teeth? He does bark but mostly at people and cars passing. He also folds his lips under his teeth and looks like he's smiling at me funny. I really appreciate all the help.

That's good to hear.
What he means is that when he closes his mouth, are his lips rubbing against his canine teeth? My 15 week old GSP has sores on his his lips because of this. Looks like in the same area as your dog's issue. As he grows and his head fills his skin, it is getting better. When he eats is when it is the worst.
My last dog had an overbite and would do the smiling thing a lot lol!

Good to hear it will get better as he grows. He is only 8 months. Is there anything I need to do to help solve this?

According to the vet there really isn't much that can be done while the dog is still growing.JakeAndCash wrote:Good to hear it will get better as he grows. He is only 8 months. Is there anything I need to do to help solve this?

Oh well I guess. Don't think I'll take him to vet unless it get real bad. Been there too often as of recently. Appreciate the suggestions and help.
