Purina Focus or Natural?

Hi I am getting my first dog in a few weeks, a Vizsla pup. I have been looking at some food this week on the internet. I saw these two different purina types, chicken and brown rice/chicken and brewers rice. Which would be the best? Is brewers rice worse than brown rice? Or is there a different type I did not see that would be best for my pup.

Thanks all!

Just find a good food that is recommended for all life stages that is readily available and you can afford.

You have 6 post and you want to throw that out there. Why don't you post something useful.

Check with the breeder.

He runs Purina. Just wondering if one is necessarily better over the other. And if it should be a "puppy" food or if I should just buy the "all life stages."

Ask the breeder.

The best food for your dog is the one it does best on. All life stages should work well.

It's not rocket science, just find a meat based product that is commonly recognized with a good protein to fat ratio and see how he for does..

Purina Pro Plan Focus Puppy Chicken and Rice 28/18 is a very good choice if you want to feed a "puppy" food.
Pro Plan Performance Sport 30/20 All Life Stages will work just as well. Either/Or. Doesn't matter.

You get more for your money if you go with Pro Plan Performance Sport 30/20 All Life Stages

I agree with Sharon on the value of Pro Plan Performance vs. the puppy. In my area they are priced the same, however, the puppy comes in a 34lb bag and the Performance is in a 37.5lb bag.
