NexGard?
Anybody else using Nexgard? My vet recommends it for my pooch and I like my vet, but we don't have a tick problem here so its hard to say how effective it is. I still want to protect him from fleas and ticks so Im going to trust her as the professional. Just curious if anybody has any experiences good or bad

Re: NexGard?
I used it on my pup. I never found a flea or tick on my dog under normal circumstances. We are in tick infested areas ever day of the summer. After a run where he would get into the ticks bad, you could find them on him as soon as he got to the truck. A few hours later, they would be gone.

Just switched from Advantix 2 to Nexgard this fall. No ticks/fleas seen on the dogs and this is the warmest Nov./Dec here for a very long time.

I'm a fan. I tried it last year and it worked well. I bought it again for this past fall and did not have a tick on her. My brother-in-law uses it on his GWPs and he's only pulled one tick off his dogs, which in this area is really good.
