Simparica Flea/Tick Prevention?

Anyone have any experience with Simparica? My vet said it seems to be working better than Nexguard. My GSP has been on nexguard and is fine with it but it seems to wear off after 3 weeks. Just wasnt sure if anyone has had negative effects using Simparica.
