Flea and Tick medicine

My vet is retiring and the new vet taking over the practice changed flea and tick medicine last year and switched my dogs to Nexgard. I don't have any problem with the change but my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to look at flea and tick medicine options and how they compare.
I found a recent product comparison chart from a California Vet that was both comprehensive and current and I thought I would share it,

FWIW, I am going to keep my dogs on Nexgard until my new Vizsla pup gets over 6 months and I am going to talk with my vet about switching to Simparica. Mostly because it kills the Gulf Coast tick(which is common where I am) which Nexgard does not.
