i went to the vet and cailey got all of her shots and i asked him which he wood use for flea and tick meds.well he said frontline plus is better for fleas and k9 is better for ticks.what do you guys think about this need advise.also more for the end of the year here in ny we have ticks until
nov and also depending on weather.in long island ticks are bad all year round i have seen them.

From my limited experience, I would agree with your vet. I am using K9 Advantix now. With the frontline plus she still had a few fleas. I'm giving my GSP Excell 8 & 1 Brewers yeast tablets with Garlic. Not a flea or a tick on her now. I wish I could say the same about me. Last weekend I pulled had three ticks off of myself. The dog did't have any on her.
