Yet more on the e-collar...

Post by MTO4Life » Tue Aug 05, 2008 4:38 pm

Here's the scenario. You have a TT Pro 100 and Pro 200 to use. The 100 has 18 levels of continuous stim. and 6 momentary. The 200 has 6C and 18M. Can anyone tell me is the continuous low level stimulation for the 100 and 200 (set at its lowest setting) the same stimulation and is the highest level (the 18th level in the 100 and the 6th level in the 200) the same stimulation? I would assume yes, and that there are more increments in the 100's continuous level vs the 200. Any help would be appreciated...

Travis -

I believe the answer to your question is yes. The high is probably the same on both and the low is the same on both... They are, after all essentially the same basic unit just with different control switches.

BUT why guess??

Call Tritronics and ask them. Their customer service people are excellent and they should be able to give you the answer.

travis..Yes they are bascailly the same for levels of stimulation some collar may vary some but not by much at all

personally

I never use the momentary button on the pro 100 as I control the level and amount of stimulation with my fingers depress button firmly and release as fast as you depress for momentary
depress and hold for continuous

Thanks for the info... most people I've been speaking with recommend more continuous levels as I can control it like it momentary with a quick press of the button (even my trainer used the same scenario knine...Wild Mtn in PA). SO, I'm sold on that for my ecollar. Thanks for putting it to rest for me!!!!
