Loin Country e collar

Post by birdhunter2424 » Tue Dec 30, 2008 7:29 am

I will be looking for an e collar soon. I have seen an e collar at Lion Country Supply. The collar is there brand and has all the features I would need it also has a beeper and is waterproof. There regular price is 199 but on sale for 149. Does anyone have an experience with the lion country brand. It also controls bird launchers. It is a very low price compared to the others. But could be very expensive if I have to turn around and buy another because it didn't work out.

It will work. It is a Innotek collar. It has a 1,2,3,4 and it pretty basic and simple to use. Don't let people scare you about innotek. The are o.k.
I had one for about 4 years, now i have a sportdog. Yes the other collars are worth the money, and if you have 300 or so dollars, spend it. otherwise that collar is fine.

Do you plan on getting the launcher as well? If so, that is by far the most inexpensive combination you can get, for a beeper collar and launcher.

The nice thing about LCS is that their customer service is great. if you do have problems, they will likely be very easy to deal with.

Now, pour on the "Innotek" comments :D :D

Thanks for the info. I will most likely be getting the launcher as well.

I prefer the sportdog brand for the quality, price, and customer service. However I do have one of the LCS Collars I had given to me as a gift. It works great thus far, but the only thing I really don't like, is that it takes batteries instead of being charged. Kind of a pain in the rear.

For a combination e-collar / Launcher remote you can't go wrong pricewise, IMO.

I have two Innoteks, 10 and 13 years old, both going strong.

Make me a reasonable offer.

FWIW paid $250 at Cabelas less than a year ago.

I have the LCS innotek collar and its going to be close to 5 years of service...

Biggest complaint I have is not having rechargable batteries... The levels and range have been fine, though I do hear that innotek can be hit or miss...

I have had very bad experiences with innotech IMO they richly deserve their nickname INNOJUNK . Go to some other forums and pose the same question I suspect you will get a much different opinion than this thread indicates
currently two shorthairs, four english pointers, one Brittany, one SPRINGER a chihuahua and a min pin lol
