Pigeon Coop

Post by gspkimber » Fri Nov 06, 2009 9:26 pm

I am planning to keep some pigeons of my own so I can use them to train on the weekends. The guys out there that keep their own pigeons, what kind of coops do you use. I would like pictures if you have any. I would like to keep about twelve or so, so the coop does not have to be huge; i live in a neighborhood with an association. Please let me know...I just ordered a trap from cabelas to help me get them. Any other advice would be GREAT

I bought the pigeon loft plans from Lion Country Supply for like $3 or something like that this summer and the coop was great, plans were easy to read and was able to get it done in a few afternoons. You can get the rod and bobs from them as well as pigeons harnesses, launchers ect... I made one big buy and would give a big thumbs up to those fellows, really good guys!!

Look under the " hall of fame " threads...there's one on there specifically for this.
